Does getting dermal filler hurt?
Most fillers already have a numbing agent mixed in, so discomfort is usually limited to a quick pinch at each injection site.
How long does filler last?
Hyaluronic acid fillers typically last 6 to 12 months. Sculptra and other biostimulating options can last up to two years, since they work differently.
What's the difference between filler and Botox?
Botox relaxes a muscle to soften lines caused by movement. Filler adds volume to address lines or hollows caused by lost structure. Many patients end up using both in different areas.
Is there any downtime when you get dermal filler?
Most people return to normal activities right away. Some mild swelling or bruising at the injection site is common and usually fades within a few days.
