The Brella SweatControl patch for excessive underarm sweating
NON-SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR UNDERARMS
Brella is an FDA-cleared, in-office patch treatment for primary axillary hyperhidrosis, the clinical term for excessive underarm sweating that happens regardless of heat, exercise, or stress. The patch is applied directly to each underarm for three minutes. During that time, the patch's sodium reacts with water in your sweat to generate localized heat that targets and inactivates the overactive sweat glands responsible for the problem.

Signs Brella SweatControl might be right for you
Hyperhidrosis is more common than most people realize, and more disruptive than people who don't have it tend to understand. If excessive sweating is shaping the decisions you make every day, it's worth addressing.
You sweat heavily under your arms even when you're not hot, anxious, or active
Antiperspirants, including clinical-strength options, haven't made a meaningful difference
You plan your outfits around sweat avoiding light colors, and certain fabrics
You're self-conscious about raising your arms or being in close proximity to others
Sweating is affecting your confidence at work or social situations
You've tried Botox for sweating and want a needle-free alternative
What does your Brella appointment look like?
Preparation is simple: shave your underarms at least 48 hours before your appointment and come in without deodorant or antiperspirant. In the office, your provider will make sure the skin is clean and dry before applying the patch.
The patch is applied to each underarm for a short period of time based on your individual response and comfort. During treatment, you may feel warmth, tingling, or a mild pins-and-needles sensation.
Those sensations are normal and are typically a sign the treatment is working. The whole visit takes about 20 minutes, so you can go straight back to your day afterward with no restrictions. Results start to show within three to five days. Most patients see a reduction in sweating that lasts three to four months, with some experiencing longer.

Why patients choose Collins Vitality for Brella
Hyperhidrosis is a real medical condition, not a hygiene problem, and we don't treat it like one. Brella is a clinical tool with FDA clearance. If Botox for sweating is something you've considered or tried, we can talk through how Brella compares. We see patients from Glendale and across the greater Phoenix area for exactly that reason. With decades of experience in wellness, we want you to know we take our jobs seriously and genuinely value professionalism.

Common questions about the Brella SweatControl patch?
Does Brella completely stop underarm sweating?
No, and any treatment that claims to is either very invasive or overstating results. Brella significantly reduces excessive sweating and normalizes it — most patients can wear what they want, move freely, and stop thinking about it. You may still perspire lightly during exercise or in extreme heat, which is how sweating is supposed to work.
Is the treatment painful?
Not typically. Most patients feel warmth, tingling, or a mild pins-and-needles sensation during the three minutes. These usually fade immediately after the patch is removed. No anesthesia is needed before, during, or after treatment. In the clinical trial, about 80% of participants reported zero side effects.
How long do results last?
Results typically last three to four months, with some patients experiencing longer. Most people come back every three to four months to maintain them.
How is Brella different from Botox for sweating?
Both effectively reduce underarm sweating, but the experience is quite different. Botox requires multiple injections per underarm and is repeated every three to six months. Brella is a patch, completely needle-free, applied for three minutes per side. For patients who want effective sweat control without needles, Brella is typically the more comfortable option.
Is there any preparation or downtime?
Shave your underarms at least 48 hours before your appointment and come without deodorant or antiperspirant. That's the full preparation. There's no downtime after — you can go straight back to normal activity.
You can’t stop time, but you can support how you feel while you're in it.
