Christina Johansen

Christina Johansen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in the Family Nurse Practitioner program, both from Grand Canyon University.

Before coming to Collins Vitality, Christina worked as an inpatient nurse at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, spending time in both the transplant unit and the step-down ICU.

After becoming a nurse practitioner, she trained under Dr. DeRosa in bioidentical hormone therapy and thyroid management. From there, she helped open a state-of-the-art urgent care for one of the largest family practices in Fort Collins, Colorado, and later managed care for the city's employees and their families.

Her varied clinical background gives her a wide lens when caring for patients, with a focus on understanding the full picture and creating a thoughtful, individualized plan. Her approach to aesthetics is just as individualized, with an emphasis on thoughtful treatment planning and natural-looking results.

Outside the office

Ask anyone who works with her and they'll say the same thing: Christina doesn't rattle easily, which tracks for a mom of three, including boy-girl twins. Her personal motto is simple: “This too shall pass.” Outside of work, her time belongs to her husband Tyler, their daughter Aubrey, and twins Ethan and Emily.
